AFACCT Call for Proposals!!

We’re going virtual for 2021!!

Reduced registration fee!

Amazing guest speakers!!

AFACCT would like to invite you to submit a proposal for the upcoming 31th Annual AFACCT Conference, January 7 & 8, 2021.  The conference will be held virtually to allow for a safe and healthy exchange of ideas.  We are excited about the opportunity to expand the presentation formats to include both synchronous and asynchronous options.  To submit a proposal, go to the AFACCT website https://afacct.org/conferences/current-conference-2021/conference-proposals/ and fill out the electronic survey proposal form by October 30, 2020.  Take some to time to reflect on what restores, inspires and moves you forward (in your field, in your classroom, on your campus, or in our global community) and build a proposal that invites your colleagues along that journey.

The AFACCT 2021 Conference theme is Rejuvenate: Yourself, Your Students, and Your College.  This year’s conference focuses on rejuvenation, giving us a moment to pause, reflect, and continue to grow after a period of unexpected change and upheaval.  Our keynote speakers will be Dr. Sandra Kurtinitis of the Community College of Baltimore County and LaTanya Eggelston of Anne Arundel Community College, both dynamic speakers bringing energy and thoughtfulness to our theme of rejuvenation.

Join these exciting speakers in sharing your expertise as well as teaching and learning experiences with your Maryland community college colleagues.  At the 2021 AFACCT conference, you are invited to present on any topic your colleagues might have an interest in, as it is related to the community college experience.  Because AFACCT maintains the conference fee as low as possible, we are unable to waive the fee for the presenters.  The registration fee for the 2-day virtual conference is $25.  Conference registration will open on October 19th
